MY STORY

About five years ago, my wife and I decided that we would take advantage of the opportunity still available in the United States to provide our daughter’s Gil and Susieeducation based on our principles and beliefs.

We knew that it would be difficult and would be something that would require sacrifice in other areas of our lives but we felt it important enough that we were willing to endure those hardships.

What we discovered was that there were more difficult challenges in this journey than we had expected: namely how to find the right curriculum for her that would fulfill the state requirements for her.

Now having blazed the trail, we believe it’s time to pay it forward and share the knowledge and resources that we found along the way.

PAY IT FORWARD

As with anything else in life, the more time spent searching and analyzing a topic, the simpler it becomes. I wish I had found a website such as this when we were first entering into the fray, but at the very least I can now provide one for those coming along behind.

I truly believe that as you give you will receive, and that there is no greater way to contribute than to teach the things we have learned to others engaged in the same pursuits. The rewards that come from helping others run deep.

HOMESCHOOLING MADE EASY

I have done my best to provide you with as much information on this one website as possible so that you can make the educated choice on which curriculum best suits your child. There are online courses, old-school textbook and teacher manual based programs, and blends of the two.

The different approaches are tailored to provide the best learning environment for children based on their strengths and long suits, as well as those of the parent teacher. Some children do well in a totally online environment, and others are more hands-on and need more direct parent involvement.

Whatever your approach might be, our goal will have been met if you find the resources you need on the pages of this website.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

Gil
